For Tutors

  1. Registration Requirements

    To join Ocean Home Tutorials, tutors must provide accurate information, including:

    • Full name
    • Date of Birth
    • Location
    • Latest qualification
    • Specialties (if any)
    • Schooling board
    • English fluency (preferred)
  2. Experience

    While experience is welcome, it's not mandatory. Tutors with varying levels of experience can apply.

  3. Identity and Address Verification

    Before starting any tuition, tutors must provide a valid identity proof with their Lucknow address.

  4. Service Commitment

    Tutors must commit to a minimum of 30 days with Ocean Home Tutorials. The maximum duration will be decided mutually.

  5. Payment Terms

    Ocean Home Tutorials charges a commission equal to 15 days' tuition fees per month, regardless of the actual number of tuition days.

  6. Demo Class

    Tutors are required to provide at least one day of demo class to the parents. In exceptional cases, if the parent requests an additional demo, the tutor may provide a second demo at their discretion. However, Ocean Home Tutorials advises that only one demo class is provided.

  7. Breach of Agreement

    If a tutor tries to bypass Ocean Home Tutorials' services, we reserve the right to:

    • File a complaint with authorities
    • Send representatives to investigate and resolve the matter
    • Seek compensation for losses incurred.

For Parents

  1. Providing Student Details

    Parents are required to provide accurate information about their child, including:

    • Class
    • Board
    • School
    • Location
  2. Location and Address

    Parents must provide a valid address and location to facilitate the tuition services.

  3. Timeframe for Tutor Allocation

    We will make every effort to find a suitable tutor within 1-4 days, depending on the availability of tutors matching the parent's requirements.

  4. Fee Discussion

    Parents are not authorized to discuss fees directly with the tutor. All fee-related discussions must go through Ocean Home Tutorials.

  5. Demo Class

    Parents will be provided with one demo class to assess the tutor's suitability.

  6. Minimum Commitment Period

    Parents understand and agree that the tutor will be committed to their child for a minimum period of 30 days.

  7. Payment Terms

    Payment for the first month will be made to Ocean Home Tutorials. For subsequent months, parents can pay the tutor directly, ensuring that Ocean Home Tutorials receives payment for the first month's fees, which covers at least 30 days.
